Description
Trofai palm nut fruit concentrate sauce for soup. Like the others, it is suitable too for banga rice or banga yam porridge. Trofai palm nut fruit concentrate is made from freshly squeezed palm nut fruit juice. No preservatives added. TROFAI guarantees the flavour and taste of a traditional palm nut soup. Used in the preparation of palm nut fruit soup, also called banga soup, a very popular West African soup, especially in Ghana and Nigeria.
How to Prepare
- Empty the content of this can into an assorted pre-boiled and spiced meat and fish, allow to simmer. Add blended mix of onions, hot pepper, tomatoes, and boil. Many would include some special spices like ataieko and iregaegie as well as dried bitter leaf.
- New Recipe - For 5 person: Cook your meat with a glass of water for about 10minutes. Pour TROFAI on top and add at least a can full of hot water. Season and allow to simmer uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes to obtain the right consistency. Remove oil of the surface with a spoon according to your taste.
