Horseshoe ground rice is another great variety of rice milled into fine granules and packaged by Horseshoe. It is a fantastic alternative to gari, pounded yam, cassava flour and amala in making fufu as an accompaniment to any African soup. Ground rice is sprinkled into a saucepan of boiling water, stirred, and left on low heat to simmer. You get a beautiful semi solid dough of rice balls, served with any Africa vegetable stew.
Ground rice can also be used in enrich pastry in making bread, cakes, biscuit and confectioneries.
