Bollinger's vintage rosé is made from blending red and white wines, all from grands and premiers crus vineyards. The first fermentation takes place in 5 years old or older oak casks. This is to ensure that neither tannin or oak flavours are imparted to the wine. This increases the aromatic complexity of the wine.

Bollinger R.D. is a vintage Bollinger that has been aged on it's lees for a minimum of 8 years. The blend is the same as Grande Année, 65% Pinot Noir And 35% Chardonnay. The extra ageing allows the more subtle and complex flavours of the Champagne to fully develop, while maintaining a remarkable freshness.
